Long Term Symptom Severity Paper (Seamark, 2021)

Title: Long-term symptom severity in people with irritable bowel syndrome following dietetic treatment in primary care: A service evaluation

Synopsis:

Having support from a registered dietitian has the potential to improve symptoms in people with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) both in the short-term and long-term.  People with IBS, should have input from a dietitian, early on in their treatment, to provide early symptom relief, as well as reduce the need for other healthcare use, leading to significant cost savings.
